Weekend Recap

I had such a nice weekend. The hubs and I bought tickets to American Sniper early instead of getting to theater and risking it being sold out again. I know everyone has already raved about the movie, but I just want to give my two cents. I have always been appreciative of our military but after American Sniper I am even more grateful of what our military and their families do for our country. I feel like every American should have to see this movie.

Since we've been eating so good lately on WW- we decided to have a splurge Saturday morning. We ate Pancakes at Perkins. It was so yummy! I also got my hair done Saturday morning. I was long over due for a cut and I got my blonde refreshed. I also did quite a bit of damage at Ulta and Target. Check out my haul.

I picked up just a few happies and a few things I've been wanting to try. I have heard fabulous things about Philosophy's Hope in a Jar moisturizer. So far I'm loving how my skin feels after just a few applications. I picked up a NYX face primer that a friend has recommended and the NYX Dark Circle Concealer for my tired eyes. I already have Urban Decay's Naked Palettes 1 & 3, but the Maybelline Nude shadows have been calling out to me. I included it in my Mom's stocking this year and she loves it. You can't beat the price either. Also run don't walk to Target to rack up on their Essie Sale. Their products are buy 2 get 1 free right now. I am so super pumped by the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops. I can't believe how fast it works. I also picked up 2 new polishes. I was so excited about my purchases it even had me in the mood to organize all my beauty products, and that's saying a lot for someone as disorganized as me.

Sunday, of course was the day of the Big Game. Since my Steelers weren't playing I really didn't care too much, but I had a bad taste in my mouth about the Patriots since they got caught cheating again (allegedly). I made a few Weight Watcher approved snacks and a few that weren't. Here's what I made for us to snack on.

The Buffalo Tenders were a WW recipe, and so good that I will share the recipe soon. I also made some money off the game. Woot woot. At work, some us put money in on Super Bowl Squares. I won the 2nd and 3rd quarters for a total of $200.

The no makeup pic above shows why i need that Dark Circle Concealer. Ha. Now what to buy..........

 Have a good week!
