Chris’ parents met my mom at the Boiling Point to check it out as a potential Rehearsal dinner spot. I think they liked it, but it wasn't quite what they wanted.

Chris and I checked out the Mesquite Chophouse on behalf of his parents and we loved it. We booked our Rehearsal dinner location!

08.03.13 Wedding Invitations

I didn't want us to spend a crazy amount of money on the invitations so I started looking at Etsy for places. I found a site I like and my Mom and I both decided on the following! They look so much better in person. I never thought I’d say I loved an invite, but I love this invite! It was printed on a shimmery card stock and just looked amazing!

08.16.13 Flower Power

We decided to use a florist shop owned by one of Grandmother’s friends. I had no idea what to expect, but they talked us through and I picked out things I hope to be exactly like I want!

08.24.13 Couple’s Shower

One of the most fun nights of my life happened at our couple’s shower. I was so nervous when we arrived to the party. It was weird having all the attention on me and Chris. The hostesses did a fantastic job with the tailgate themed shower. I was blown away by the details. I truly have the best friends in the world. Gift wise, Chris and I racked up! Holly painted the most perfect invite for the occasion and gave us the original as a gift. It hangs in our home.

09.02.13 Tux Time

Chris and I went Men’s Warehouse and he picked out the Tux’s all the studs would be wearing in our wedding.

09.08.13 Shield Me

We made another appointment at Barefoot Bride to look at veils. I found one that I liked and it was just that easy!

09.14.13 Hair Did

I had my Bridal hair trial and was on the fence about how it looked, but in the end I went with it.

09.15.13 Hernando Shower

I had my Hernando Bridal Shower at the home of Natalie Lynch thrown by Kay, Natalie, Chesley, Kaylin, and Brittany. The flowers and decor were beautiful. I felt super loved! Everything was just beautiful and I got so many amazing gifts. 

09.18.13 Pre Marital Class

Chris and I attended our first Pre-Marital Session with Davis who was officiating our ceremony. I think we were both a little nervous. Davis was easy on us, and gave us some exercises to work on. We attended to more sessions and were ready to say I do!

09.21.13 Memphis Bridal Shower

Debbie and Kerri threw me a Bridal shower at the Debster’s house. Once again I was overwhelmed by the love and generosity of my family and friends. Happy is the only way to explain how I felt this day.

10.04.14 The Bach Party!

My lovely girls threw me a bachelorette party in Nashville. Mandy, Kerri, Jen, and I drove down on Thursday night. Cassie, Erica, Holly, Tareia, Kelleigh, and Coutrney joined us for Friday and Saturday. There were drinks, gifts, dancing, laughs, and hijinks. Loved feeling loved all weekend long. My girls are the best!
